Network Infrastructure
The development of these richer, more complex web applications eventually proved detrimental to the dated network and systems infrastructure. To that end, I designed, sourced, and led the implementation of a new infrastructure, addressing our key goals of redundancy, business continuity, expandability, and streamlined deployment. The final systems design provided us with multiple ISP uplinks, redundant firewalls and switches throughout, and a virtualized application and storage server farm capable of withstanding the loss of any component.
